Western Canada Breaking Free!
The western provinces of Canada aren’t monkeying around. They aren’t staging protests as a publicity stunt. They are now taking concrete steps to severe ties with the central government in Canada.
It remains to be seen whether they will form an independent republic or seek to realign with the United States. But it’s clear that Alberta and Saskatchewan are deep entrenched now in the process of change, and they could drag other western Canadian provinces, like Manitoba or British Columbia, with them.
