Canadian Breakaway Expands

Western Canada has finally snapped. After years of being pillaged and watching their prosperity stolen by the Canadian authorities in Ottawa, the residents of the Western provinces are now diving deeper on a secession course.

Alberta and Saskatchewan are the farthest along, but British Columbia, Manitoba, Yukon and Quebec also have residents who now want to break away from Canada.

Some want to form an independent nation. Others envision the six provinces becoming new states within the United States. Here’s more from the Canadian Reporter.

Alberta: The 51st State?

Will Canada be spilt apart with some of its provinces joining the United States? How many provinces might make the switch? Alberta seems the most likely, but there’s also talk about its neighboring provinces, including Saskatchewan and Manitoba? Would these provinces all make the transition together or separately, each becoming new states?

There’s a lot of issues to resolve and serious questions now being raised as Alberta prepares for a vote that will set the stage for a move toward independence or joining the United States. How would such a transfer affect the USMCA? That’s the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement — the current free trade agreement between the three countries, that’s been in effect since 2020.

Here, longtime Canadian dissident Norm Travesy shares his thoughts about the ongoing process. He notes that Alberta has historically maintained close ties to the United States,  as many of the original settlers in Alberta were American cowboys.

Much hinges on the current premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith. She has been asking for better oil and gas pipeline concessions from the Canadian government, and could presumably favor the status quo if that issue gets settled. She also has been warning President Donald Trump to stay out of the separation fight, so she seems to be trying to delicately straddle a fence. Here’s more from McAllister TV.

Western Canada Breaking Free!

The western provinces of Canada aren’t monkeying around. They aren’t staging  protests as a publicity stunt. They are now taking concrete steps to severe ties with the central government in Canada.

It remains to be seen whether they will form an independent republic or seek to realign with the United States. But it’s clear that Alberta and Saskatchewan are deep entrenched now in the process of change, and they could drag other western Canadian provinces, like Manitoba or British Columbia, with them. Here’s more from Steve Turley.

They’re Afraid Of Secession!

The secession movement is heating up in Canada, especially in the western provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Here, pollster Mark Mitchell from Rasmussem Reports talks with Nadine Ness, the head of United Grassroots.

Her organization has been encouraging everyday citizens to become more involved in Canadian politics, up to and including, exploring the possibility of secession as an independent nation. That latter prospect has the politicians freaking out.

Nitrogen Agents Threatened

This week on the New World Next Week: It’s beefed-up checks for finance groups as the Race to Zero threatens climate coal-ition footdraggers; Saskatchewan threatens to arrest Trudeau’s nitrogen agents; and the FBI’s Whitmer patsies get convicted in double jeopardy. Trudeau Suspends Parliament

Parliament is suspended! Before MPs even finish debating Justin Trudeau’s massive power grab, the House of Commons gets shut down. This follows a bloody police assault in Ottawa where cops on horseback trampled over an elderly woman. There were early reports she had died, but later, it became clear she had survived, although suffering injuries.

Let’s hope the MPs get a court injunction and end the emergency powers, restoring some needed balance and democracy in Canada. Bringing us up to date is Andrew Scheer, a Conservative, former Speaker of the House of Commons and an MP from Regina in Saskatchewan Province.

Conservatives Rising In Canada

Members of the Conservative Party in Canada have begun to speak out against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his covid lockdowns. These politicians, responding to the Freedom Convoy truckers’  protest, are calling for a more rational and sane policy toward handling the pandemic.

Here, Member of Parliament Leslyn Lewis of the Haldimand-Norfolk riding in Ontario Province speaks with Ezra Levant of Rebel News. Lewis placed third in the Conservative Party’s leadership election in 2020. Originally from Jamaica, she says “the people have been lied to, and they want answers.”

Another member of Parliament. Candice Bergen, deputy leader of the Conservative Party, torched Trudeau after he called the protesters “racists.” She noted Trudeau is the one who has chosen to wear “blackface” and indulge in sordid racist fantasies. Bergen represents the Portage-Lisgar riding from Manitoba Province in the Canadian House of Commons. More from the Bongino Report.

Scott Moe, the premier of Saskatchewan Province, announced he will soon be ending the vaccine passports.  “The vaccine mandate imposed by the Trudeau government on the trucking industry is unnecessary and will surely have significant impacts on the household goods and products that Canadians rely on,” Moe said. Canada: Wither Thou?

Has Canada become the post-national meme without a future? Justin Trudeau won re-election but he’s now ruling a minority government that won no seats whatsoever in the western provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta. How long will these westerm provinces agree to remain in the Canadian federation? More from Black Pigeon Speaks.
