At a private meeting with Republican leaders, former President Donald Trump discussed the “horrible” crime rate in Milwaukee, the city where the Republican National Convention will convene this summer. A so-called “journalist” from an online news outlet called Puck twisted around Trump’s statement to have him calling Milwaukee a “horrible city.”
The fact is: Crime does run rampant in Milwaukee. There were close to 5,000 stolen vehicles reported over the past year. Instead of addressing the out-of-control rates of robberies, thefts and violent crimes, the fake news wants simply keeps to its torn and tattered mission of smearing Trump.
