It’s a little-known fact that there was another brilliant mind in the Albert Einstein family. Einstein’s son, Hans Albert, was a scientist in his own right and a decorated professor of hydraulic engineering, a career his father initially dubbed “a disgusting idea.” The two had a strained relationship throughout most of their lives, but the elder Einstein mellowed later in life when his grandchildren were born.
