Walter Russell Mead in his Via Media Blog today cited a report from Russia’s Pravda Online on how the United States uses three weapons — manipulations, money and sex — to control the world. The Pravda report seems intent on — how should we say, exposing — Kim Kardashian as a capitalist tool. But those hard-working Pravda journalists are missing a beat, or else they’d go back in time to 1958, when the US was even more blatantly using sex to corrupt the moral fiber of Communists worldwide.
