From France comes Mortys, perhaps the first film to portray the Grim Reaper as a woman. She has it rough as a single mother struggling to keep up with her demanding job while taking care of an unruly son who’s feeling neglected. Still, everything’s copacetic until the boy gets a wild hair to show off his computer wizardry.
Four students from the ESMA Montpellier — Gaëlle Lebègue, Ness (Aurélien) Ronceray-Peslin, Nicolas Villeneuve and Mathieu Vidal — created this imaginative animated short. H/T Kuriositas
