Blood Ink

Chinese writer Lu Xan once said, “Lies written in ink cannot disguise facts written in blood.” He was making reference to the Chinese regime’s murder of student protesters, but the statement has universal implications. Something written in blood is deigned more permanent, more truthful, more powerful than writings in any other medium. French animators Tom Gouill, Jeoffrey Lavanche et Mélanie Tournois from the Bellecour school of arts play off that notion in their haunting and metaphorical short Blood Ink, about an author whose words come alive, with fearsome consequences.  H/T Kuriositas
