Written by Desmond Lowden and directed by Rudolph Cartier, this edition of Thirty Minute Theatre stars Donald Pleasence and Nigel Davenport. We get a first-hand look at how blackmail and bribery are used to twist the news, involving use of implanted chips placed inside a newsman’s body. At the time, this probably seemed like science fiction. Now, not so much.
