The Lost Gospel of Thomas

The Gospel of Thomas is part of the Nag Hammadi library discovered in Egypt in 1945, basically a collection of non-canonical sayings allegedly made by Jesus and considered by the Church as a heretical Gnostic text. Scholars speculate that the works were buried in response to a letter from Bishop Athanasius declaring a strict canon of Christian scripture. More from Robert Sepehr.
