Choosing The Right Emoji
While most of us confront real-life issues every day, uber-liberal NPR is more concerned with how Americans are allegedly struggling with what color emoji they should use in texts and other social media. Talk about the theater of the absurd!
Vee Monro says it shows how subversive and untruthful these ideologs are. In the beginning, it was all about tolerance, he says, then it turned to equality. “I don’t know what could be more equal than the internet, or at least how the internet used to be,” he argues. “They talk about marginalized voices, but how can you marginalize if you don’t even know the person is a minority?” Here’s more of his analysis.
