This reflects the fact that the Democrats are shutting down American federal government operations because they insist upon money being spent to benefit illegal aliens. President Donald Trump reposted the meme.
A final vote to keep government open failed on a vote of 55 to 45 late Tuesday night. A total of 60 “aye” votes were needed for passage. The shutdown went into effect at midnight.
