Finding righteous currents in turbulent times

Lindsay’s Psychotic Superfans

Psychotic feminists have turned a child killer into a saint, and I could not look away. Lindsay Clancy admitted to strangling her three children — and instead of horror, a huge swathe of feminist internet has decided she’s the real victim, a misunderstood Bambi who deserves a standing ovation. It is mass psychosis, and today I’m going through the most unhinged Clancy supporters the internet has to offer.

There are a lot of them, and they come in types. The self-described “childhood friend” grinning and taking selfies with the defense lawyer in the courtroom. The sobbing emotionals insisting Lindsay “carried the whole mental load” — a narrative Patrick Clancy’s own testimony demolishes, given he took 12 weeks paternity leave, gave her permanent maternity leave, ran every errand, and they had a nanny and a prior psychiatric hospital stay. The “you don’t understand how messed up women can get, so actually men are the villains” crowd. An actual OB/GYN recording a tearful “I believe you, Lindsay, we’re proud of you.” And the grand finale: the fanfiction theorists inventing an elaborate drugging-and-barricading plot to pin it on Patrick — a man whose only crime, per the evidence, was having his own DNA in his own house.

I break down every type of these crazy women, the “he threw out her stuffies” cope, the sailor’s-knot conspiracy, and what it says about a feminism that can watch a woman admit to killing her kids and still call her innocent.

She’s not innocent. She’s either a murderer or criminally insane — neither one is innocent.

LET’S GO!! Here’s more from Bearing.
