House Speaker Mike Johnson promised us back in September that we wouldn’t see another omnibus spending bill this Christmas. But as you all know, Congress couldn’t resist the urge to return to that decrepit way to conduct the federal business.
How many of these turkeys do we have to defeat before they actually get serious about trying to serve the public? How much pig slop are they going to keep feeding us? We’ve pretty much given up any hope of these corrupt hornswogglers actually reforming their ways. Perhaps it’s going to take a long shutdown before we see any light at the end of the tunnel.
