U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell isn’t the only well-known legislators missing in action, It turns out U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, the California Democrat, hasn’t reported for a vote in Congress since May 18.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies is now reporting she will be unable to finish her current term, owing to unspecified medical conditions. She has served her district since 1991. The district covers much of southern Los Angeles, as well as neighboring suburbs like Gardena and Inglewood.

Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong is out with a new report (more than 100 pages) that takes a deep dive on the 2026 midterm elections in November. Armstrong says, “The computer is showing this is going to be a very, very tight election. It’s a 50/50 deal where we didn’t see either party coming in with a landslide. The bottom line looks like the Democrats can take the House, but not the Senate. So, you will have a 50/50 divided government. ”
Armstrong adds, “You are going to get a lot of the crazies on the Democrat side. Even the conservative Democrats are getting very nervous. You recently had (Democrat) James Carville talking about how the party is going to split, which was our forecast in 2024. So, this is where we are heading.”
Armstrong predicts, “By the Dems taking the House you will see all kinds of investigations. There will be another impeachment of Trump, etcetera. They will be real obstructionists. They don’t give a crap about the country. If Trump says the sky is blue, they have to say it’s red. This is the way politics degenerated.”

The U.S. House has gone out of its way to approve the America SAVE Act. Even six Democrats, for the first time ever, voted to approve the act on Wednesday, breaking with the majority of their party behind scuttling the act.
Now, it moves into the Senate, where the act has always faced greater treachery — not only from corrupt Democrats, but also deadbeat RINOs. Will Senate Majority Leader John Thune finally prove his allegiance to Republican voters and get the bill enacted into law? Ruben Gallego, the Democratic Senator from Arizona, is facing charges of consensual sexual relations involving two different females who worked on the staffs of Gallego’s colleagues. Both of these women were staffers for Texas Democrats.
Gallego was a close friend and associate of Eric Swalwell, the Democratic Congressman from California forced to resign from the U.S. House after multiple staffers accused him of rape and sexual misconduct. No one is charging Gallego of rape, but the New York Post says he’s guilty here of ethical infractions.
It’s hilarious to see so many Democrats facing charges of sexual misconduct, after Leftists are forever lecturing everyone else about their moral superiority. Obviously, they aren’t as ethical or smart as they pretend to be.
