Division in U.S. Caused Trump
Contrary to popular belief, President Donald Trump did not cause the division in our country today. It actually caused him!
“He’s the result of it,” says conservative pundit Dinesh D’Souza. “We have been nominating one Boy Scout after another for two decades–George H.W. Bush and Mitt Romney and John McCain–and there’s no doubting the rectitude and clean-cutness of these guys. … but like with Romney, the Democrats say, ‘there’s a guy we know we can beat into a pulp.’ And that’s one thing you can’t do with Trump.” D’Souza surmises that Republicans need to toughen up, not because they are immoderate people, but because they are in an immoderate situation.
