Massachusetts Confiscates Guns
The progressive left sent another shot across the bow, when uber-liberal Gov. Maura Healy invoked emergency powers to confiscate guns, obliterating the 2nd Amendment rights of her constituents in the process.
Josh Sigurdson reports that Healey signed the order under the guise of stopping gun violence, even after a gun shop owner obtained more than 85,000 signatures from residents who opposed the law. “This was simply an overriding of the rights of individuals to have a say in the matter,” Sigurdson said. The ban includes “ghost guns” and all equipment used to modify weapons.
Sigurdson said the law shuts down more than 400 gun stores throughout the state and is expected to take effect Oct. 23. More from World Alternative Media.
