Kamala Harris’ 2019 memoir The Truths We Hold: An American Journey claims she is the granddaughter of a black Jamaican woman by the name of Beryl Harris.
Here, Candace Owens expounds upon her assertion that Kamala Harris is nothing but a lying opportunist. Owens claims that while Harris did have a paternal grandmother named Beryl, the grandmother bore the maiden name of Beryl Magdaline Finegan. This woman was Irish, not at all of black descent. Beryl Magdaline Finegan, in fact, was descended from slave holders, not former slaves.
Why would Harris camouflage the facts? Is she so hellbent to gain political power that she masquerades as black? Is she more of a charlatan than a true crusader? Is she simply fabricating the truth to get ahead?
Owens claims Harris is such a booming liar with a blemished character that she might as well be a minstrel performer.
