Hydrogen Cars: Next Wave?
Will cars powered by hydrogen-driven combustion engines lay to waste the electric vehicle industry? Koji Sato, the CEO of Toyota, says “Our new hydrogen engine will destroy the EV industry.” Toyota has been working on hydrogen engines in collaboration with Yamaha.
These engines can be powered using water, and do not require as many rare metals as electric vehicles. Also, these new engines will be stronger and more durable than electric vehicles, so they can be used for bulldozers, earth lifters and heavy industrial vehicles.
