John Stossel reports the FBI has shut down Silk Road, the illegal online drug market and has jailed its founder, Ross Ulbricht. A judge sentenced Ulbricht to double-life, plus 40 years with no chance of parole, calling the ruling a “warning to others.”
Ross’ mom, Lyn Ulbricht tells Stossel her son was just an overly-zealous libertarian, who believed in free markets and volunteerism. “This was for all non-violent charges,” she says. “He’s not a dangerous person.” Here’s Stossel with the rest of the story.
