Apple Garage Myth Debunked

Engineering wizard and entrepreneur Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple and the first Apple computer, chronicles his journey with the technological giant alongside genius Steve Jobs. But contrary to popular belief, Jobs’ garage was not the brain trust hub it was made out to be. “The garage represents us better than anything else, but there were no designs made there,” Wozniak says. “We outgrew that garage very quickly. It wasn’t like a whole company you walked in and a bunch of people had desks. Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, sees storm clouds rising as governments around the world impose more pervasive and invasive controls and regulations to limit Internet freedoms.
