China Salami Slicing Taiwan

Chris Chappell reports that for decades, China has used a technique called “salami slicing” to gradually take over Taiwan. But instead of taking Taiwan all in one fell swoop, it starts by moving just a little bit closer to Taiwan’s airspace and territorial waters.

Chappell says China is becoming more brazen everyday, as evidenced earlier this week when a Chinese speedboat carrying four fishermen entered Taiwan-controlled waters. When a Taiwanese Coast Guard boat initiated a pursuit, the Chinese boat capsized and two of the occupants died.

In this episode, Chappell takes a closer look at how China is salami slicing Taiwan’s airspace and territory, and how Taiwan has responded and how China might use civilians to launch a surprise attack.

Taiwan Ready To Strike!

Chris Chappell says Taiwan has threatened to treat any incursions by China into its airspace as a first strike and promised instant retaliation.

Chappell also reports China’s economy is lagging behind the rest of East Asia and predictions for its growth are dismal and the Solomon Islands has now signed a security agreement with the U.S. and other Pacific Island nations, but not without a hitch. Here are the details on China Uncensored.
