Flights To Venezuela Canceled

Global carriers are abruptly grounding flights out of Venezuela after the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration warned of a “potentially hazardous” security environment over the country.

Reuters reports that airlines including Iberia, TAP Air Portugal, Avianca and Gol have cancelled operations as U.S. forces surge into the Caribbean ahead of possible new action against Maduro’s government. With military aircraft, warships and intelligence activity rising, Venezuela’s skies are turning into one of the world’s most volatile airspaces. Here’s more from the Times of India.

Putin Luxury Limo Explodes

A £275,000 Aurus Senat limousine, believed to be from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official car fleet, allegedly exploded and caught fire on a street in Moscow near the country’s top intelligence agency FSB’s headquarters.

The claim was reported by some western outlets, but no confirmation came from Russian state media or Kremlin, or from independent sources. It’s said that Putin himself was not on board. No word on any injuries or fatalities.
