After a 50-year run, Saturday Night Live is on the chopping block. The vultures are circling because the comedy skit series is now losing close to $100 million a year.
More rumors are flying since Saturday Night Live went on an unscheduled hiatus. There’s also a flurry of speculation now that it appears Lorne Michaels, the show’s creator and executive producer all this time, is nearing retirement.
