Don’t Quit Your Day Job

Australian Trade Minister Craig Emerson gets animated defending the Labor Party’s carbon taxes. During an interview with ABC News, Emerson started dancing and singing “No Whyalla wipe-out, there on my TV” to the tune of Skyhooks’ 1970s hit Horror Movie. Emerson was responding to Opposition Leader Tony Abbott’s previous comments that the South Australian city of Whyalla would be “wiped off the map” because of the carbon tax.  Although this video has gone viral worldwide, it would be a mistake for Emerson to quit his day job anytime soon. Of course, he could always expand his repertoire and keep his dreams of pop stardom alive. Next up: His rendition of The Beatles’ Taxman. H/T Moonbattery
