Make Mine Freedom
Joseph Barbera and William Hanna (Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, The Jetsons) co-directed this 1948 cartoon for MGM, extolling the virtues of freedom within the larger framework of America’s capitalistic society. No doubt it’s considered an old-fashioned piece of propaganda by moonbats, but interesting how prescient it has proven in exposing the threats posed by con men selling utopian panaceas and snake oil medicines. Just remember: “Everything is fine, everything is fine, everything is fine.” H/T Evil Blogger Lady
