Finding righteous currents in turbulent times

John of Fraud

Jamie Dlux digs into the New York Post and its coverage on John of Fraud, otherwise known as John of God or Joao Teixeira de Faria. This Brazilian spiritualist has been charged in a massive child sex ring, involving the sale of children across Europe, the United States and Australia. The children were sold to wealthy foreigners, and the mothers used to deliver more kids for 10 years, after which time they were supposedly killed. Oprah Winfrey pushed this scam artist, as did Bill Clinton.

I didn’t see this as being of much importance when the arrest was first made, and the charges were first pressed simply because I have never heard of John of God and there wasn’t much that was out of the ordinary when you have someone abuse people’s faith to exploit them. However, with the recent allegations FROM THE SAME JOURNALIST WHO GOT HIM ARRESTED IN THE FIRST PLACE, this was certainly worth covering and worth examining through a cynical mentality. More from the Right Media.

ARVE error: need id and provider

RT — the Russian television network — offered this report, claiming more than 600 women have come forward to accuse a prominent Brazilian faith healer of sexual abuse and human trafficking.
