Facebook Blacklists Brighteon
Brighteon is emerging as another useful, free-speech challenger to YouTube. We have already discussed the rise of Bitchute, which is generating close to 20 million views each month. Now, Brighteon has surpassed 2 million views, enough to get it knocked off Facebook.
Styxhexenhammer666 says that is proof that Brighteon is growing. Facebook mostly bans larger outfits that it deems as possible rivals down the road.
Of course, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has some truly bizarre hangups, so no telling if this is why Brighten got banned or whether Zuckerberg — the super-Borg — just got a burr up his space bonnet. He’s super rich so he thinks he ought to be able to censor pretty much whatever he wants.
Unfortunate to see many Big Tech social media outlets going that direction. Arrogant and petulant, to say the least. Not folks we want to support or give any business.
