Trump’s Approval Stabilizes
President Donald Trump’s approval rates have stabilized around 41 or 42 percent. Styxhexenhammer explains why that’s exactly a decent number. It means Trump has the full support of pretty much all Republicans plus another 5 percent of the public — mostly independents and third-party members — who are conservative. Will he win the election in November? Too early to say. But he is certainly within striking distance, needing to pick up only a few percentage points to beat Joe Biden.
