Dems Lose Deep South Holdout
The Democrats have lost their last remaining power base in the Deep South, losing the governorship in the state of Louisiana. Jeff Landry, a former state attorney general, defied the polls and won the seat for the GOP.
No doubt, Landry’s endorsement from former president Donald Trump helped him.
