The microphone, operated by a boom operator, struck Trump as he was responding to a question about the situation in Gaza. He reacted by tilting his head back, glaring off-camera, and later quipped, “She just made television tonight,” referring to the operator involved.
There is no definitive confirmation of which media outlet the boom operator was affiliated with, nor has the individual been officially identified in available reports.
