Richard Nixon offers his condemnation of “advocacy journalism,” the form of subjective speculation that describes so much of the investigative journalism produced by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein during the Watergate scandal. Some might suggest “advocacy journalism” is just another charade — i.e., something made up, or “absolute bullshit.”
