Media Kingpins Sharing Notes
Media kingpins are conducting their annual meeting this week in Sun Valley, Idaho. We don’t know what’s on the schedule for this year’s talks, but many times in the past, these players have bought out smaller competitors and decided upon playbook rules to ensure they retain the lion’s share of the market. The meetings are sponsored by Allen & Company, a secretive, privately held company that served as advisors for Google and Facebook when both of those firms went public. More from Mark Dice.
