The Twitter Files: Part II & III

Here is the second installment of The Twitter Files, this time released by another journalist, Bari Weiss. We learn much more about the variety of tools that Twitter used to bury, censor or blackball those whose tweets fell outside the approved scope. Mainly, we’re talking about conservatives, although it remains to be seen worldwide who might have been the targets of such Leftist discrimination.

Weiss brings us highlights of some well-known cases, like Twitter’s persistent censorship of Chaya Raichik and her account @libsoftiktok, which was suspended six times. But we also learn about tools used to shadowban pesky accounts. These accounts could be placed on a “Trends Blacklist,” a “Search Blacklist” or a “Do Not Amplify” list.

What most of us term shadowbanning, Twitter termed “visibility filtering.” One senior twitter employee told Weiss, “Think of visibility filtering as a way for us to suppress what people see to different levels. It’s a very powerful tool.” More from Dobie_Tejas.

Bari Weiss releases the second batch of the Twitter Files, providing direct evidence of Twitter’s massive censorship operation. Prior to Elon’s purchase, Jack Dorsey and Vijaya Gadde assured America this was not happening. Christopher Wray warns about another influence operation, TikTok.

In part III, we learn about the censorship and removal of Donald Trump from Twitter. New details forthcoming Saturday and Sunday, so stay tuned.

Elon Musk promised to return free speech and transparency to Twitter and said he was releasing internal documents related to Hunter Biden’s laptop. But then the company’s top lawyer— ex-FBI general counsel James Baker — was found hiding, and maybe destroying, key pieces of evidence implicating Twitter, the FBI, and perhaps the Bidens, too.

In this jaw-dropping new episode of Over The Target Live, Lee Smith speaks with Miranda Devine, author of the bestselling book, Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech, and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide, about the future of free speech. More from The Epoch Times.
