Television personality Bethenny Frankel is bringing the hammer down on NBC Universal for what she claims is cruel treatment of its reality show talent.

Riss Flex reports that Frankel has retained the services of Hollywood lawyers, who delivered a letter to NBC, charging it had allegedly exceeded the moral and legal limits permissible in a civilized society, opening itself up for legal action for intentionally inflicting emotional distress, distribution of revenge porn and false imprisonment. Catherine Areu, who made dozens of appearances on Fox News as The Liberal Sherpa,” has now been arrested on charges involving swindling her own mother. Prosecutors say she kidnapped her 88-year-old mother and admitted her into assistance care facilities under false premises.
