Just Do The Math!
U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee, a Democrat from California, defends her proposal to raise the minimum wage to $50 an hour — up from the current federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.
Lee couldn’t explain how small businesses could survive such a hefty increase, but argued, “Just do the math. Of course. we have national minimum wages that we need to raise to a living wage. We’re talking about $20, $25 — fine. But I have got to be focused on what California needs and what the affordability factor is when we calculate this wage.”
Obviously, Lee isn’t a rocket scientist — just another flaming leftist from a burned-out state, California, that now has an open U.S. Senate seat. Lee is running for that seat, along with several other Democrats.
Her rivals include U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff. He’s the stiff that hung around the luxurious Standard Hotel, and also, by the way, exchanged more than 250 emails with Jeffrey Epstein! So the Democrats have some real “solid” candidates in La-La Land! Here’s more from Memology 101.
