Scientism: The Maps Are Wrong
We will have to forget much of what we have learned. Because what we have learned is wrong. Take maps, for instance.
Many maps show Africa and Greenland being comparable in size. But in reality, Africa is almost 14 times larger than Greenland. Similarly, South America is much bigger in scope than Europe, though the two look roughly equal in scale on most maps.
