The media are FURIOUS that Elon Musk is quickly dismantling “USAID.”
But I say it’s a good start! The agency spends $40 billion a year — often on dumb things.

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who oversees USAID, announced Thursday night that he will lay off 13,706 employees from the agency, leaving only a core staff of 294 staff members. It’s not clear if those 294 will be absorbed into the State Department or if USAID will even exist any longer.)
