Early last week, the White House emailed staffers instructions on how to clear out their offices in light of the fake Presidential election results. However, the following day they received another email to stand down, adding that urgent information would soon follow.
What did follow was a tweet from Trump Legal Team member Jenna Ellis that said the President will not be imposing martial law and redoing the entire election. “We have a a constitutional process for the Electoral College and remedies for corrupted elections,” she said. She further explained in another tweet that the Trump Administration’s hopes lie with state legislators, who do not need a court order to move forward, since they are specifically granted plenary authority by the Constitution.
