New Mexico Guv Bans Guns!
In a stunning and seemingly unconstitutional directive, uber-liberal New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan-Grisham issued a ban on guns in Bernalillo County for 30 days after an 11-year-old boy was killed in a road-rage shooting.
The order was directed at open and conceal carry gun laws on public property, only in Bernalillo County, which includes Albuquerque, the state’s largest city. Law enforcement and licensed security are exempt. Grisham says she is already facing criticism for the announcement for infringing on 1st and 2nd Amendment rights of New Mexico citizens.
