CNN: Republicans Could Win
Harry Enten, the chief data analyst for CNN, says the GOP is now poised to hold the U.S. Senate and could quite possibly keep the U.S. House as well. Enten says national polls have overstated levels of Democratic support. Based on early vote totals from the states, we could be looking at a 2-4 percent flip.
If it’s 3 percent, says Enten, Republicans would likely take 53 Senate seats and win just over 218 House seats — enough to hold both chambers.
So turnout definitely matters. If you’re GOP leaning, don’t sit on your ass. Get out and vote, and send the Democrats on a fast boat into the bowels of Hell! Here’s more from Trish Regan.
