Swamp Rears Its Ugly Head

CNN did some data analysis showing President Donald Trump won in 2024 owing to his overwhelming support from members of the military and former military veterans. Trump captured a 31 percent plurality from these voters. He wouldn’t have beat Kamala Harris otherwise, as she actually pulled 2 percent approval from Americans who never served whatsoever in the military.

This is particularly critical for Trump nowadays, as military veterans continue to approve of his war against Iran, while the reverse holds true for non-veterans. CNN’s Harry Enten digs into the statistics.

Trump is not only fighting the Mullahs, but also a wide swath of denizens from the Swamp, like the crusty Cagin James Carville. Even Carville admits, “My Trump derangement syndro0me is getting worse” as he indulged in a profanity-filled rant against the President. If there was ever a rancid peckerwood who needed his mouth soaped out, Carville qualifies.

Trump Approval Riding High

Never mind what the lowly Democratic windbags say, or Trump critics from the right, like Tucker Carlson. President Donald Trump is demonstrating stronger support among his own base than any other recent president. His approval numbers for his second term dwarf those of Barack Obama and George Bush at comparable points in their 2nd terms.

Here, former Fox News host Trish Regan looks at the recent poll numbers and wonders aloud: Who is Tucker Carlson trying to reach? Is he hoping to poach viewers off Don Lemon or Jim Acosta? Because Tucker is clearly alienating many Republicans with his bristling Trump criticism, Regan asserts.

The Blue State Depression

Why are the leftists growing more desperate and crazy? Because reality is beginning to set in. Even their cherished fake news outlets are spelling out the truth: The leftists are heading toward long-term disaster!

A case in point. The top five states now gaining population all were carried by Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. They include Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and Arizona. Meanwhile, the five states reporting the biggest population losses were all states carried by Kamala Harris in 2024: California, New York, Illinois, New Jersey and Massachusetts.

The next time states get reapportioned by the U.S. Census Bureau, after the 20230 census, the pickings will be getting slimmer for the leftists! Here, Trish Regan comments on this phenomenon, raised as a talking point by pollster Harry Enten at CNN.

J.D. Vance Swamps The Field

J.D. Vance is swamping the field among Republicans presumed likely to run for U.S. President in 2028. Not only will Vance get the usual upward bump received  by vice presidents entering the presidential sweepstakes, but early polls suggest he will be the prohibitive favorite to win the GOP nomination.

Vance is polling right around 40 percent already, and no one else gets higher than 10 percent. The top also-rans, who loom at likely vice presidential contenders, include Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. No Wave Coming For Democrats

CNN’s head poll analyst Harry Enten says Democrats are more likely to take it on the chin than to pull off a wave election in 2026. The polls, in fact, show the Republicans are more likely to pick up seats, perhaps as many as 12.

What’s costing the Democrats? They no longer have a massive lead among registered voters. They still hold a lead, but only by a point or two, not 7 as they held in 2017.

Also, the Democrats have been too inclined to let their leftist extreme dictate the moves of their party. This has turned off a lot of moderates and independent voters, and so many are not lining up to join the Democratic coalition. Here’s more from Steve Turley.

America Was For Sale: No More!

President Donald Trump isn’t buckling. If they hadn’t already surmised, the Communist Chinese have learned America is not for sale. We will not be surrendering our national economy to the Chinese Communist Party, nor allowing traitors to dictate how we conduct international trade. Yes, we will likely lose billions of dollars worth of trade from China, but we will turn to India, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea and Japan to offset the differences.
