Major Storms, Floods Coming

Look for historic El Nino weather patterns this winter, owing to an unusual trough of super-hot water occupying the Pacific Ocean just off the coast of California. Former CIA agent and now widely followed pundit Michael Jaco says this will lead us to an extremely wet winter.

We’ll see heavy snow across much of the United States as well as intense rains causing flash floods. The flooding will be concentrated along the Pacific corridor, especially in California and Oregon.  But we’ll see evidence of these outbursts, as well as big storms, throughout the United States. Look for the most moisture in the South, from Texas on into Tennessee and the lower Mississippi states. The northern states, by contrast, are expected to be dryer and warmer than usual.

We won’t know more precisely the weather patterns — and where they might hit — until we get into the late fall and winter. But forecasters say the probabilities are high — in the 90 percent range — that this will be a winter for the record books. These patterns will prevail through the balance of 2026 and on into 2027. Here’s Jaco with the bigger picture.
