There are no legal statutes in place preventing anyone from becoming a law enforcement officer because of their race. Still, the progressive activists claim that the entire concept of having a police department is systematic racism. Amazing. This is the mantra that leftists, particularly the Black Lives Matter movement, have cowtowed too, sending progressives on a witch hunt like we’ve never seen. They accuse anyone and everyone who isn’t on board with defunding the police, destroying property and every other item in the socialist’s handbook of being a racist. Instead, they condemn their political opponents and institutions with made-up concepts like “systemic racism” and “institutional racism” to cow people into accepting demands they otherwise wouldn’t.
