2016 More Relevant Now

Dinesh D’Souza, filmmaker of the documentary 2016: Obama’s America, says the work is even more relevant now that President Obama has won re-election. While it’s too early to say if the most dire predictions in the film will come true, D’Souza says he’s troubled with two recent developments: 1. Obama scheduling a trip to Russia, presumably to discuss dismantling America’s nuclear defenses 2. The continued rise in Muslim militancy around the world. He discusses these issues with Newsmax.

Obama’s October Surprise

With his numbers declining in the polls, President Obama might pull a rabbit out of his hat, and attempt to reverse his fortunes through an October surprise. Dick Morris says keep your eyes open. One possible scenario he suggests: Some sort of negotiated truce with Iran temporarily placing its nuclear ambitions on the shelf in return for a lifting of the economic sanctions now imposed on Iran.

Raw footage from a massive demonstration Wednesday in Tehran, Iran, as citizens protest rapidly escalating consumer prices brought on by hyperinflation that’s threatening the collapse of the rial, Iran’s currency. As the rial grows more worthless and prices spiral out of control, pressures will intensify for the Iranian regime to back off its nuclear weapons development.
