Another Barge Hits Bridge!
Another week, another massive barge smashing into a bridge! Says Josh Sigurdson, “The notion that we would see two bridges hit by barges in a week is absurd.”
Sigurdson says the latest incident occurred in Sallisaw, Okla., when a large barge rammed one of the pillars supporting the Arkansas River Bridge. Fortunately, there were no reports of injury. He says it’s a pattern of destruction we might be witnessing more often than not and even the World Economic Forum is saying these type of incidents will continue to occur throughout the year.
