Delete Your Twitter Today
The Twitter and Facebook hearings last week in Congress were a bust. The Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, and Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee, whose members seemed too old or ill-informed to make much use of the opportunity. In the aftermath of the hearing, Twitter banned Alex Jones. Computing Forever says we should fight fire with fire, and all delete our Twitter accounts.
We’re not sure we’d advocate that, with President Donald Trump using Twitter to communicate with his supporters. But we certainly would like to see the president take his followers to another social media site that does not practice gross censorship. Dorsey and his ilk are out of line, and need to be taught a big lesson.
