Cure Is 98% Effective!
On Saturday, Dr. Didier Raoult, the most prominent French virologist working at his lab in Marseille, France revealed the findings from his latest study on the effectiveness of treating COVID-19 disease earlier in the process – before people get really, really sick.
Dr. Raoult used a combination of Hydroxychloroquine plus the antibiotic Azithromycin, plus zinc supplement, which is what most of the primary care doctors in the United States are using in their day-to-day battle against the COVID-19 disease right now.
This time, Dr. Raoult tested over a thousand patients that had tested positive for the virus, and found that in 91.7% of the cases the disease was completely removed after 10 days of treatment.
Poor outcomes were seen in only 46 patients, or 4.3%, and only 5 patients died – one-half of 1%. The people who didn’t respond well were typically older and typically had a higher viral load or were taking other drugs that may have interfered with the effectiveness of HCQs somehow.
Of the 46 patients who had poor outcomes after 10 days of treatment, 25 were cured after additional treatment with the combination, so it just took longer to do so. So the ultimate cure rate is currently 98%, with another 16 patients still hospitalized. More from Bill Still.
