Scalise Expected To Drop Out
The saga continues…. Trish Regan reports that the race for the New Speaker of the House is growing more complicated. It appeared Thursday that U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, had garnered the necessary votes to be the GOP’s new speaker. But Scalise, a RINO, lacked sufficient votes to actually win the seat.
According to some reports, Steve Scalise may back out — possibly putting Jim Jordan, or even Donald Trump, in the position of frontrunner. Here’s more from Trish Regan.
