GOP Senators Turn On Gaetz

Dinesh D’Souza makes his case for Matt Gaetz’s decision to withdraw from his AG appointment and what might lie behind it.

D’Souza says that if the new Trump Senate, which stands at 53-47 in favor of Republicans, voted along party lines, Gaetz was a shoo-in to be confirmed. But he says there was at least four Republicans, still steamed at the way Gaetz engineered the ouster of then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who  revealed they would not support the nominee. More analysis with D’Souza.

Will Trump Expose Speaker?

Former CIA operative Michael Jaco tells Nicholas Veniamin that President Trump’s “kiss of death” might well have befallen Speaker of the House Michael Johnson.

Jaco suggests that Johnson was invited to meet with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago compound, not necessarily as a friendly gesture, but to expose the Speaker for his recent about-face on GOP principles. Jaco says the same fate, or “kiss of death” as he calls it, transpired with former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was invited to Mar-a-Lago under similar circumstances. And we all know what the end result was there!

Will Trump follow the same game plan with Johnson, who is rapidly losing support from fellow Republicans? Jaco and Veniamin share their thoughts.

Is Johnson Being Blackmailed?

When Mike Johnson was newly elected as Speaker of the House, he promised to steer the party in a new direction and listen to the Republican voters. Yet, here he is a few months later, and he’s calling for billions more to go for the war in Ukraine — a position that the vast majority of Republicans strongly oppose. He’s so far out of sync that Republican mavericks like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie want him ousted.

What’s with Johnson? Is he just as vile and corrupted as former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy? Or is he being blackmailed by the Democrats or the dirty Deep State agencies, like the CIA and FBI?

One thing is certain: This is not at all the Speaker we thought he would be. The only question remaining — Should he be deposed now or should we wait until after the 2024 presidential election, hoping we will have a few more Republicans in the House? How confident are we that we can hold the House if there’s more disruption now?

Life After Mitch

Dinesh D’Souza argues that Mitch McConnell’s departure signals the end of the era of the “peacetime generals,” and he lays out what to expect once he leaves in November.

D’Souza says the change of the Republican guard in the Senate signals a new beginning for the GOP and an opportunity to break way from “institution men” and lean toward leaders who will fight for the party. He explains further, plus welcomes Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey to the podcast to discuss his lawsuit against Planned Parenthood.

Who The Heck Is Mike Johnson?

The Speaker of the House has been chosen. The Speaker: Mike Johnson, R-Louisiana. But who the heck is Mike Johnson?

Mr. Reagan gives us an introduction, and what he finds is certainly encouraging. More encouraging than we have any right to expect, given the shenanigans that transpired over the past few weeks arriving at a replacement for Kevin McCarthy.

Jordan Held Back By RINOs

RINO sellouts have voted with Democrats to shut Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, out of the House Speakership, but it’s not over yet.

Allies of Jordan told Fox News that he’s willing to endure multiple rounds of voting, if necessary, to reach the Speaker’s gavel. “It might take a few votes, it might not be done on the first ballot, but I think he’s okay with that,” one GOP lawmaker told Fox News Digital after a closed-door House Republican meeting.

Scalise Expected To Drop Out

The saga continues…. Trish Regan reports that the race for the New Speaker of the House is growing more complicated. It appeared Thursday that U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Louisiana, had garnered the necessary votes to be the GOP’s new speaker. But Scalise, a RINO, lacked sufficient votes to actually win the seat.

According to some reports, Steve Scalise may back out — possibly putting Jim Jordan, or even Donald Trump, in the position of frontrunner. Here’s more from Trish Regan.
