Let’s Play Epstein Charades
Rep. Melissa Stansbury, a New Mexico Democrat, serving on the House Oversight Committee, pounds upon President Donald Trump, claiming “we’ve all seen the photos of underage girls sitting on Trump’s lap.” A couple of problems with Stansbury’s accusations.
- Her state, steeped in corruption, was site of Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch. What’s remarkable about Zorro? It’s the one Jeffrey Epstein mansion or getaway where there’s never been one lawsuit filed alleging pedophilia or any other child sexual abuse. That’s because the Democratic politicians in New Mexico — like the late and former Gov. Bill Richardson — hung out and partied regularly with Epstein. So Stansbury’s corrupt cronies buried every suit, same as the victims. Stansbury has no room to squawk until her cronies go after their own, which they haven’t done and never will.
- Why wait until the year 2025 to bring up emails generated 10, 15 and 20 years ago? Again, the Democrats are in trouble. They just shut down the nation for weeks, and even cut off SNAP payments for their own constituents. So they need a distraction to try to get the people to look elsewhere. Will it work? Probably not, but maybe for a week or two, and that’s probably all the Democrats need — or expect.
